Welcome to Gift Basket Tutorials, the site dedicated to your love of learning how to make beautiful gift baskets in the comfort of your home, retail shop, and any space you've set up to unleash your creativity.

I'm Shirley Frazier, your host and author of How to Start a Home-Based Gift Basket Business and The Gift Basket Design Book. My creativity started in 1990 when my husband, John, made a small gift for a friend. It wasn't contained in a basket, but the idea was so thoughtful that I dropped plans to open an intimate apparel company and began planning to start a gift basket business.

The photo to the right shows one design in a gift basket, but rather than use baskets, I frequently chose unique containers such as children's wagons, doll-size rocking chairs, and upturned umbrellas to arrange a collection of gifts custom made for each receiver.

I've created gift baskets for individuals, politicians, entertainers, and non-profit organizations. Some designs were featured on The Food Network, The Discovery Channel, and other networks, and I share my ideas for creating a hobby or business through the original gift basket business Web site, blog, and weekly newsletter.

It's been my pleasure to be on this journey since 1990 with thousands of gift basket designers worldwide, and now it's time share more tips and techniques with you through online videos featured on this site. Best of all, you get to rate what you see, add comments, and share the video pages with friends and family members who also love making gift baskets.
